or  'colour' if you prefer...

yesterday, I made a reference to "the black & green one!"    "it's in a grey box just as all the others"
after a 2-smoke smoke break, my helper returned with the tool, and engaged me in a debate over the colors of Festool.
so,  are they black or are they a very very dark blue?

systainers:  are they grey, offwhite, stone?

and as for the green,  has anyone found a particular color of anything,  -anywhere,  which exactly matches
I'd like to find matching colors in rattle cans,  or better yet a base coat-clear coat  and powdercoat

Tools: very dark blue, RAL 5004 (Black Blue)
Systainers: light grey RAL 7035 (Light Grey)
Green: not exactly sure but looks like RAL 6018 (Yellow Green)

Any (good) paint store should be able to get you an almost exact match of the colours if you bring a sample to them. Even if you don't have the official names/numbers of the colour.

My question is - what on earth did you guys smoke???  [eek]

Benjamin Moore has a very "manly" paint color called Sweet Pea which is a perfect match for the Festool green color.

(I'm trying to get them to change that name to something less girly).

[thumbs up] [poke]

Very, very dark blue, but I think they used to be black.  I would have to look at some of my old ones closely.

It does seem odd that we tend to refer to them as green  ???
