3 years ago a good friend of mine came to me with an idea: he wanted both of us to make an electric guitar. At first i said "no way end of the story", but my my pal was persistent so we went for it. Our Luthier gave us a nice piece of mahogony and my friend chose a walnut top as i went for flamed maple. what and adventure with lots of hopes and despair.  I almost threw mine away after the router took a big chunk of wood out, but went back the day after and find a way to repair the trouble. i'm glad my friend insisted because it it one of the thing i'm the most proud of and it's a real pleasure to play on something you crafted! one important thing to mention is that we both did just the bodys. we paid for our luthier to make the varnish and the guitar necks (way too complicated for newbies like us!)

Nice job!  I've always been interested in building one myself.  ....but first I think I should learn how to play.  Welcome to the forum!! [welcome]
