I've heard of the cabinet classes put on by festool and i can't help but assume there is a big PDF on the festool way of cabinet building. I'd like to see the process from start to finish and how to domino assemble boxes, anyone know where its at?

I've seen some supplemental manuals from some fellows that include cabs for the shop. pointers?

It depends specifically what do you want to know? There are various u tube videos showing the use of the various festal products. Once ya get that down cab building is to easy.

joseph fusco had a very good set of videos on cab making using both festool and non festools building cabinets.

honneydokreg has a series of u tube videos building built-in cabs using festools as well.

Honeydokreg is the one that got me thinking about more videos. I still have to go back and finish the series. It seems we pay for a system and I was just looking for a some tips on how to maximize the potential. I'm fairly fresh to cabinets so theres some things I need to figure out. One question I had was how to integrate shelf pinned cabinet sides with an end panel.

I took the cabinet class a couple of years ago in Lebanon, IN and Brian uses the 32mm system to lay out and build cabinets.  This is very easy and there are several guides out there, the KISS 32 system being one of the easiest.

Fastcap makes a system 32mm metric tape that has a dot at 32mm intervals for the length of the tape, which eliminates lots of the math.

Festool is based around the 32mm system; LR32 hole drilling, MFT/3 hole on 96mm centers, Festool USA headquarters just off IN Rt 32 & etc.

That FastCap True32 tape is awesome, btw. It's the only tape I could find the the US with metric graduations down both sides of the tape.

Hahahaha...  had to actually log in and post to say thank you for the good chuckle this morning!

EDIT:  Holy crap, you weren't kidding... their street IS just off Rt. 32.  (Yes, I was curious and looked up their address and mapped it in Google.)   That makes it even funnier!  (and a maybe just a little creepy...)

I can't take full credit for that - It was one of many "Sedgelisms" we gleaned from instructor Brian Sedgeley.  I wish shop class had been that much fun in High School!  And the cafeteria food; mmmmmmmmmm!  [big grin]
