"The Light at The End of The Tunnel" (Hat Rack Table)

This table was designed by me to inspiration to my niece who has been going through chemo for Lukemia.
The hooks are there to hold the tons of hats that she has since she has lost all her hair.
I entitled it "The Light at The End of The Tunnel" (for obvious reasons) and made it from Sapele Mahogany.
It is supposed to loosely resemble a Victorian gaslight street lamp.

 
Thanks.  That is Oil Rubbed Bronze Galley Rail I purchased.
It helps to keep hats from sliding off the top and it added a nice little decorative touch to it.
 
I don't get choked up very often, but this did it.  Nice work, by the way.  Reminds me a little of Narnia.

John, yes, you are right, I never really noticed it, but it does have a touch of that "Narnia" feel.
