The making of a quality sawblade

the link dont work for me [huh]

it just takes me to my homepage, theres no search results either?

Alrighty then... Exactly why I almost never post here anymore.

To Timtool: I found the link at Leitz.org I also have a life and don't share it with the world.

To WarnerConst.: I hear of people weekly that had no idea Leitz made Festools blades or they debated the fact. As far as "better" blades, entirely depends on the application but Leitz blades are very nice as are FS Tool, AGE, RKO, Leuco Topline, and Forrest.

Permanently over and out

i think this last post is a bit harsh, [mad]
as for facebook, i dont have an account as i dont see the point of it for anyone local, frinds and family living aboad is different.  i think it is a bit like big brother , a load of bored people watching other bored people sit in a room talking about nothing. [blink]

back to the point. i wasnt aware who made the blades for festool but presumed it was outscourced. the quality is good enough for me any day. who makes them doesnt matter ( to a point) as it is the specs that festool want that matters.

I really enjoyed watching the video, thanks for posting it.

Richard.

Darcy, I thought that too but....this place used to be a friendlier place.  We've gotten a little off track recently.

Taos,

Thanks for the video... I guess I haven't been around long enough to know who made festool blades...

Thanks for sharing the video.  I know that I, and the others here who have expressed their gratitude, speak for the thousands who will read your post, and will have gained some knowledge.

Thanks for sharing!

Peter

It's those damn spring Festool prices increases - makes everyone a bit more irritable.  I was a lot nicer when the OF1010 was just $310.  Now that it's pushing $400, I'm a lot less nice around here.

If Festool would just roll back their prices an across the board 25%, we'd all be as polite and civil as can be.

Of course, I'm a veteran at thread crapping, so what do I know!?

wow i didn't mean to upset the OP, if i did then i am sorry.
was just pointing out that the link was only accesible to facebook subscribers.

edit: took me 5 mins to find the link their site, leitz only posted it on facebook apparently, so no facebook, no video.
thanks alot leitz,
i think this is the same on youtube, i could only find it in czech...  :-\

Taos,

Thanks for the video.  I knew Leitz made their router bits from others posting it on the FOG, but I didn't know they did the saw blades till I watched the video.  If I was in Darcy's clubhouse, looks like I'm kicked out now!  [tongue]

Timtool,

I had no problem watching the video and I don't have anything to do with Facebook, Facetime, Face off or Face-to-Face.  Maybe it's an inverted NAINA thing - AINAO.

great video taos.

i had no idea leitz made festool blades.

the facebook video link does not work for me so i had to watch the czech version from timtool.

thanks timtool too!

justin.

I couldn't view the original link either, it just diverts to the Facebook login page. And I don't have an account...
