I'm returning my festool t18+3 to you when I get back from holiday (as per phone call to you a week or so ago) under the 15 days trial period. I was going to just swap it for the same drill with the larger capacity batteries, would I be able just to add the extra money and purchase the festool drc 18v set?

Since we don't have it here, I didn't know the answer. However, a colleague at Festool UK shared the following...

The DuraDrive uses a dedicated magazine which will only work with this machine. The chuck used for single screws will not fit the T/C Series as the interface area is different.
