So I went to grab my CT 26 today from my trailer today and heard this awful sound!  I felt like I just broken a bone. I knew what happen, I just didn't want to look.  [scared]
I needed sometime to myself and then looked at what I had in my hand. A few four letter words and back to work! The CT is just over a year old, what a shame!  Could this be covered under warranty and marked as user is an idiot?  [eek]

The PAIN! Or a green Band-Aid [big grin]

Sorry.  Contact Festool Canada and you might be pleasantly surprised.

Worse case, CA glue the edges; once it sets, lay CA-soaked fiber behind it across the cracks.  Make up an excellent war story for it.

Take Peter's advice. Worse that could happen is you would have to buy the replacement parts on Ekat.
