Could this area be limited to only one entry for a single post with replies, instead of showing numerous replies for the same message thread?

For example, tonight it shows at least 30 replies to the "CANCELLED..." thread, probably pushing other recent posts off the list.

Mikey,

There's no option for me to set the forum to consolidate threads like you're asking. If you need to go back further than you see on the recent posts list, click the icon on the left of the recent post to see more.

Hope that helps. If not, just visit the forum more often and you won't have that problem...  [tongue]

Plus there is a "New replies to your post"  link, to only see the post you commented on.

You can further refine that list by dropping the thread/post you are no longer interested in.

If you are no longer interested in a topic you can remove it from your intrest list so it will no longer appears in the " NEW REPLIES to your posts"

Go to your profile, select the "Show Post on the left menu, The find the post you want to remove from your interest list, In the lower right of the post is the "Notify" icon, click it. You are then presented with the option to stop notification, this should also drop it form hr list.

Or select the "Notifications and Email" from the left side menu and us the check boxes on the right side to select several post you want to drop from your interest list and select the action from the dropdown list at the bottom.

Hi,

As Corwin said I believe that "UNREAD POSTS since last visit" will do what you want. It will bring up a page showing all the topics/threads that have new posts. But it will not show individual posts. Then for each you can click the green "NEW" button and it will take you directly to the last place you left off in that thread. You can even keep refreshing it while you are on to get rid of the ones you just read.

I do pretty much what Corwin and SRSemenza said.

1) http://festoolownersgroup.com/unread - Saved to my favorites.
2) I click on the little green "NEW" button for the threads I want to read and open each in a new tab.
3) Once I have gone through everything, then I click on the "Mark ALL messages as read" down on the bottom right of the screen.  This way I know that everything is new the next time I visit the site.
