Is it compatible with the track saws? They aren't mentioned in the 'compatible with' info, looks like it's only for the sanders?? Does this mean they come with the light duty type plug-it lead?
Thanks for any info.

I made up my own combination and used the heavier cord for compatibility with "all the tools" I might use with the extractor. But my understanding is as Cheese mentions...the packaged combo supports the higher draw tools, too.

I remember when Festool offered those as swag during the Festool Connect Event in Las Vegas 2018. I ended up wearing out a 16 ga cord and remembered I had a spare in that hose combo.

I still have that hose. I also remember far too many abusing the swag.

I remember much about that trip, much of it good, like a wonderful dinner with old fronds, but also credit some of the other stuff I remember for as possible reasons there hasn't been another Festool Connect since.

Sad on many levels.

I'm mainly concerned with the lead being compatible, ie heavy duty v light duty.
You can't get it backward. The receiving socket of the higher Amp tools will not accept the light duty cable.
The opposite direction is fine, the heavier cable on lower draw tools is no problem.

Yeah, just wanted to confirm it came with the heavy duty - Festool Au doesn't tell you the type of lead, but all of the 'compatible' tools listed are what I'd consider 'light duty'.

@Lincoln I haven't paid enough attention to realize that you were an Aussie. My thinking is NA, unless it's someone that I know where the live. It thought it was only us with 2 different cables?

Looks like the light duty has been almost phased out down here, but there's still one available amongst the 5 or 6 Plug-It options.
