The Ultimate Hobbiest Shop

I didn't see a colour tv in that other douchebag's shop I'd like your's better if i could see pics of the beer fridge though. Don't tell me you don't have one. You're in Australia, it's hot down there, a craftsman has to wash the sawdust down with something....... ok i'm off to the pub

The TV is the most important item in any shed. Needed for the Footy and Cricket. (My footy teams old mascot is hanging on the right wall  [laughing] )Plus no need for a beer fridge... it doesn’t hang around long enough to go warm ;D

Also had to laugh in the blog comments, some bloke saying he should replace the Martin with a Sawstop. That would be like deliberately amputating your leg just to fit the latest u-bueat titanium and kevlar  prosthetic leg.  ;)

I see a bunch of JET and a TV. I don't see a Festool, let alone a beer...

Where's the good stuff?

Tom

The doc has clearly spent a lot of money, and wants to do woodworking with surgical precision.

What is that computer screen type, digital readout device on the left of the Kapex. Is it some kind of digital measuring device, calibrated to the Kapex blade?

Man, and I am still using a tape measure and vernier caliper.

Yes, it is impressive! But I think it's a "bit" over the top for a hobby woodworker... No matter how good of a craftsman you are, you don't need machinery that size.... But then again, if money doesn't matter who cares...  [eek]

Tom, if you look hard you will see two Systainers, a Toolie, a cap and a plug-it lead. All my Festool stuff is locked in the house when not used.

If you look closely at my shed, you will see how easy it would be to break into.  [eek]  [wink]

Damn!  I don't think I have a room in the house half as big as his shop!  Seems almost impossible to have a shop that clean.

Now I feel like my skills of observation aren't very keen...

On more careful observation, I see your hat, cord and a Systainer peeking out from behind the door. Pretty sneaky...
