THE ULTIMATE TOOL TRAILER

Ron,

That is the best trailer setup that I've seen. Very impressive, very organized, well done!!
I had a trailer set -up aka.rolling work shop for years and it was so nice to work out of a trailer instead of a van or the back of a truck. I had a customer hire me because of how clean and organized my trailer was. You have a nice collection of quality tools also. If your garage/shop is anything like that lets see that also. I'm in the progress of redoing my shop from scratch and am trying to get some good ideas up front because once its up and running I don't want to do it again for a while.
Again Great job !!!

Ron,

Thanks for the info.

Here our temps can shift just a bit, I have seen 141 degree shift from summer to winter. Just yesterday it was 103 now its 75  and by Friday our high will be 59 and rain.

Here is not uncommon that the first thing installed in work trailers here is insulation, a gen set and electric heater. That way you can keep tools and consumables are workable temps. Showing up with a 5 gallon latex Popsicle makes for a bad day.

Cheers,
Steve

Wow! Steve, that is some extremes. I would probably have to have a 50amp service and a 7KW genset just to run the heat and air conditioning. When it gets too hot, I do lay out work. I find the air conditioner and layout:)

Paul, a bit off topic (that's what we do best  ;)) but i had a good look at your web site.  That's some lovely houses you build.  Love that style  [big grin]

Ron, months ago I made all my cabinets for my new 16'x 7' enclosed trailer using your ideas.  I really like the idea of using the bottom of the drawer in dato's.  I made many of the drawer cabinets able to be removed so my sustainers could fit in them after I take out the drawers.  I really had a hard time figuring where to start in outfitting my trailer and your video gave a great reference.  I have to thank you for all the great ideas.  Every person who sees inside my trailer says, wow.  Today a guy told me it was the best setup he's seen and he's seen a bunch.  I'll post some pics when I get a chance.  Great stuff Ron!

Jay,

Could you post some picture of your trailer set-up?  I am about to buy a 16' enclosed trailer.  I have seen Ron's setup and plan on copying many of his ideas.  Always looking for more though.

Thank,

Dave
