rift in the time/space continuom!  My name didn't come up!

Congrats Mr Ward.

The next one must be mine!

Yes, Congratulations Mr. Ward.

I keep saying "I won't win", "I won't win" and you know. I am always right ;)

Someday, the domino's will fall in my favour

Well, at least the winner was someone that posts here and not just a lurker...

I suggest the next three winners are the people that currently have the most posts here. Considering that I have the third highest post count, that sounds fair to me. ;)

Just joined this forum a few days ago.  Figured I needed to at least post once - so I can't be called a lurker when I win the next one  ;)

Wow!  Was I surprised and VERY excited when I got an email today from Matt saying I'd won the first Domino.  Yippee!! (as any of you would be, I'm sure).  It will have a happy home next to all my other Felder tools.

So, to celebrate, I went up to SF to MacBeath Hardwoods and bought 40 bf of 'superior 'Alder to make a Greene and Greene style sofa table.  All the mortises will use the beloved Domino.  (funny the labels they're putting on wood; 'premium' is lower than 'superior'; reminds me of olives ... jumbo, colossus...)

So thanks Matt, Festool and Christian so very much, and good luck to the rest of you 653 remaining hopefuls

Mike Ward

Mike, I think you're obligated to at least post pictures of what you've done with it. That way we can hate you even more than we already do :)

Congrats.

Mike,
Nice choice of a 1st project with the new tool.  I think I'd also make a small table first, followed by a Morris-style armchair, which would really give the machine a workout! And then all the build-in shelves and reading nook in the study... and then...
Have fun with it!
