Neat to see how much dust is collected and that it doesn't appear to get warmer than your hands.

Would be cool if a similar video is shot with a 27mm hose attached to the saw, to see how different the dust extraction would be.

It really is a great example of how well the dust collection works on the Kapex.

Is there a reason it wasn't filmed in color? This is a photo of cold air leaks on a HVAC run when the AC is on.

[member=44099]Cheese[/member], My FLIR SW also has various color palette options.  I personally prefer the basic White Hot option.  Here's another short video showing how the Kapex heats up from a cold start to warm after 6 minutes of use.

Another great shot of the dust collection capabilities of the Kapex. It'd be interesting to film a Makita, Dewalt, Bosch or Milwaukee miter saw and compare.

Just thinking that if those small dust particles turn yellow because of the heat, they wouldn't blend in as much with the white background and they may be seen easier as they get scattered about.

I'd try it with my FLIR but it has the typical "Dead FLIR Battery" illness.  [mad]
