alreeet fellas.
at work yesterday my old bosch planer (1997 vintage) decided to sorta die on me. i opened it up as best i could and the rear bearing has pretty much dissapeared. so i think its kinda goosed.
i have been meaning to buy a new one but that has now become a little more urgent. however. whilst i fit kitchens and doors and all that. stuff the festool planer would be fine for. i may occasionally use a planer on first fix work. are they ok for tougher work?
fair bit of coin to fork out to find i have to get something else if i need to plane a few floor joists a bit.
be adding to my festool midi vac and ts55 if i buy the planer too
