This is harder than I thought.

I'm sitting here in my hotel room trying to think about all the stuff I have and which ones really impressed me so I could post and I'm all but drawing a blank.  I even logged into my shop cam to see if anything would spark a memory but the reality is that other than my Festools, nothing is really extraordinary.

I have a very nice HVLP unit from American Turbine.  This small company routinely sells their units on Ebay for about $500 for a 4 Stage unit with choice of gun and it does work very well and has a 4 yr warranty.  I do remember thinking how nice the Target USL looked on my Sysports when I first got it.

I like my Milwaukee Body Grip routers for use with a dovetail jig.

Not thrilled about my Bosch 3915 SCMS

Love my Jet 1642 lathe.

My planer and jointer are just run of the mill versions from Sunhill.  BS, Drum Sander etc again nothing special.

I'm a big fan of the GRR-Ripper and Splitter.

But really, nothing other than the Festools ever give me that "holy crap, this thing really works great" feeling.

Maybe when I actually get back to the shop something will jump out at me and I'll update this.

I just went to their site and the prices were substantially higher than $500 - you did say on eBay, but I didn't find anything there.  Do they run "specials"?

Here's their 4 stage unit listing for 499.  What I did was call their store and offer them that price plus shipping and they accepted.  Ask for Jack.  I got the 13.5 gravity feed gun (bleeder) and I'm very happy with it.

A month ago I picked up the Ridgid csms mobile stand at the borg sale. I have read the rave reviews about the sale and the product time after time. I normally keep my Makita LS1212 stationary in the basement shop until I need it up around the house. Then I lug it up and set it up on a saw horse table and make shift wings. Recent work installing a room full of trim using 16 footers I got the chance to put it to use. Why did I wait so long ? Because I kept missing the sale. Dollars x LBs + features and all that , this thing is one of the best tool accessories I own.
And I'll put the Bosch P20 and P10 up there too!

I found it!  Wow!  I think I'll give them a call this week - especially if a particular job comes through [I put a little in for an HPLV sprayer].

On then subject of hvlp sprayers, I have a capspray CS9100 which sprays a real quality hvlp finish. Spraytechinc.com is an interesting website for people who like spraying paint, graco of course is another quality manufacturer of spray equipment.I'm looking forward to firing up the gas powered sprayer again this season only used it a few times last year before the season ended big fun two guns up to 150 feet of hose. you go that way i'll go this way meet ya in the middle. sweet effeciency.I really like spraying paint, but you wanna talk overhead oh my goodness, let's see here. peace dan p.s. hand planes are fun... to look at.

I have a 4 stage turbine that has a separate turbine for a positive air respirator.  Both have 40' hoses.  It's from Axis Products.  I have found I use the positive flow respirator often.  I has been a great addition.

I have 3 Accuspray guns I use with it.  If I remember correctly one of the wood working magazines gave the Accuspray their pick recently. 

Seems like one of the manufactures came out with a smaller gun.  I'd love to have something like a touch up gun that runs off a turbine 'cause the bulk is a "pain" inside a cabinet.  Make sure you pick up a "whip" hose for what ever you get 'cause the standard turbine hose is way.... too.... stiff!!!

Les, Nope.  I'm not a very experienced user but it seems to work fine for me.
