Thoughts on Bosch GLL2-20?

Been shopping for lasers for my installation -- need to do a moulding squares covering a large room and align various other bits of trim.  Came across the Bosch GLL2-20, which seems like a good tool for my purposes -- good enough to do what I ask on this project, but not so over the top that I won't regret purchasing something that I will use only a few times a year.  Anyone have one/used one?

Timely post. I was wondering the same thing (although for an even cheaper model, the GLL2-10, which you can find for 50 bucks).

I assume the rotary ones are brighter and more stable, but for interior stuff like trim and hanging cabinets, it shouldn't be a big deal.

The 2-20 is a nice laser.

I prefer the GLL 3-80. Having the 3rd plane is very handy.

I needed such a device, but the Bosch's were too expensive for occasional use, so i bought the SuperCross-Laser 2 (it is as well self adjusting) for about 75 USD (68€). They all only project a line or a cross against a wall. Outside, in the sun, the laser is not visible, but inside or in the evening, this device worked well for my demands. The accuracy maybe is not as good as the Boschs, the SuperCross-Laser 2 has an accuracy of 5mm on 10m, but for me it worked. It is a robust device, dont know, if it a available in the USA, but maybe they sell it with another brand name.

I have the GLL 3-80 amongst my collection of lasers - it has become virtually the only laser I use now.
I can't comment on the other models, but I guess quality and accuracy will be the same across the range.
Definitely a big recommend.

I also like the GLL 3-80.  I have several of PLS's lasers that I bought before Bosch, the advantage of the Bosch is if you need to do angles the laser head can be locked and an angle can be projected.  I really want their D-Tect150 Wallscanners but that $650.00 tariff has been holding me back.

Thanks for the replies -- I've ended up going with the 2-20.  Having a 3rd plane would be nice, but I don't use a laser often enough to justify the extra outlay at the moment.

I had to get a new laser a couple weeks ago
Got the gll2
It's small,inexpensive,easy to use but I took it back and traded for the gll 2-45
Couple things I didn't like about
You have to remember to lock the pendulum
And I had a hard time to see the red line
The further it is set,the harder it is to see
The gll 2-45 does much better
