TI 15 speed control setting

Looking at the new impact driver I see a speed control dial on the back side, is it like the jigsaw where you set the speed then pull the trigger or am I confused as to what its for

I don't have the TI15 but I would guess it is torque settings.

The seed control only adjusts the drills turning speed. There is no adjustment for the torque  [sad]

It's a hybrid drill/impact driver. I'm assuming they assumed the user would drive in impact mode.

The speed control adjusts the speed of the drill but when the drill comes under load it ignores the speed setting you set it on an like the carvex goes up to full speed again.   To me it's a pretty pointless speed control feature.

One of the reasons why so many you know y I don't like the drill so much  [big grin]
