Why is Festool discontinuing the Ti 15 Hybrid Impact Cordless Drill / Driver?

They have not given an official explanation, but it's probably due to disappointing sales numbers. Though there are quite some happy owners of the impact driver, there are also many people, me included, who were not so thrilled about it.

I was looking at a Ti15 to pair with my CSX and Centrotec set.  Before the purchase I decided to research a little here on FOG.  I found a few people that really liked the Ti15 and several that had concerns.  I am a hobbyist so no real need.  A few people here suggested I look at the T18 +3 as an alternative to the Ti15.  I ended up with the T18 +3 and its a great for me.
