I bought the TI 15 today. I intended to buy the basic kit since I already had a C12. I opened the box and it looked EMPTY. The full complement TI kit was much more appealing.

The batteries for the TI 15 are much larger than the C12, but appear to have the same attachment footprint.

I assume I could use the C12 battery on the TI 15.

Right?

There is no reason for me to do so since there were 2 batteries in the TI kit. Just curious.

Yes you can.  There will be a little less power with the 12 volt batteries as opposed to the 15 volt.

You can use your "12" batteries in your Ti 15 drill but not the other way around, a "15" battery won't fit in a "12" tool. Or thats what I though anyways.
