This is a very nitpicky question, but...
I recently took advantage of the great deal on Ti15s from The Tool Nut. I originally purchased the basic Ti15 set because I have a C15. Then I realized how much of a better deal the full Ti15 set is, given that it comes with batteries, a charger, etc. So, I returned the basic set and ordered the full set.
However, I really liked the basic set Systainer, which also fits a C15 and all chucks. So, I ordered the Systainer insert (PN 703 202, FYI), and purchased an empty SYS 3.
Everything fits great, except for the keyless Ti15 chuck. There is a slot that looks like it'd be a perfect fit, but no. See this picture - it's the chuck on the far right.
I figured I was the problem, and tried moving things around. The eccentric chuck sort of fits in the slot on the far right, and the keyless Ti15 chuck sort of fits in the slot in the middle, as shown in the picture below. However, I think I had it right the first time, with the eccentric chuck in the middle, because it fits like a glove there.
Am I losing my mind? Is this a mistake on Festool's part? Maybe the insert is for a different chuck?
Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks.
