if the impact head just fits on where the centrotec head goes, does that mean that the impact can fit on the other full sized drills, not a question of the larger 18t or the smaller 12,mainly if it will fit on a c15,although if it would work on all of them that would be so cool and I think very festool like.I'm a going down to the store tomorrow and see if it works

To my understanding there is no 'impact head' but a 'impact mode disengager'-head that I think you are talking about?

The extension that you have to put on the Ti15 before you can attach the older corner, etc. chucks has a pin that pushes into the Ti15 body and disengages the impact hammering mechanism so that you won't break the normal drilling attachments. The impact mechanics is in the Ti15 body.

Think of it as an "anti impact head" and you're on the right track.

Those anti-impact head comments are absolutely correct!

Furthermore, the additional chucks, like the keyless, right angle, eccentric, or depth stop won't fit the hybrid without the anti-impact head attached so that they don't get damaged by the impact. The centrotec and impact keyless will however fit without the anti-impact head because they can take the impact.
