TID 18 forward/reverse problem

I got my tid18 almost a year ago, as part of a set with the pdc.
2 days ago the TID started to randomly switch itself to reverse (with the F/R switch still in the forward position).
It doesn't do it all the time but fairly regularly, and it's quite annoying. If I change the selectorswitch to reverse and back again it wil work correctly again, but sometimes it will switch back to reverse after a few screws.
Has anyone else experienced this weird problem?

I have not heard of that, but I would send it in as the electronics should be replaced. Does it happen at all speeds?

I've had this happen once or twice with my Ti15. Very rarely, so I forgot about it. I remember I read a post from Rick Christopherson once where I believe he said the forward/reverse switches of Festool drills work with a magnet. I guess the electronics that detect the position got confused.

Not once happened with my T15 though.

Just an update, I finally got round to sending it in for warranty-repair last week. I already bought a backup a while back, and I used the systainer that one came in to send it in. Turnaround by Festool Belgium was quick, and they replaced 3 parts: 10034439 forward/reverse switch, 10044663 Motor, 10044665 Electronic. (I wanted to check, but for some reason there's no drawing for the TID in e-kat.
I'm very happy with the service, and I was a bit scared, because since it was an intermittant problem, they might have found nothing wrong with it. Like years ago when I sent in my kapex to festool Netherlands with an intermittantly sticking blade guard, they found nothing wrong with it, and when it came back it was worse.
