TID 18 US Release Date

Tried searching for this information to some degree and I couldnt find much.

Figured Id ask to see if anyone had any information.
I have to redo my dock and I've been waiting on the possibility of upgrading my drill and impact driver.

Was hoping to maybe score a PDC/ TID 18 combo package.

Does anyone have any idea when the TID 18 might be available in the US?

Or maybe any UK dealers who have the package who could ship to the US?

Feel like I've heard that Axminster ship to the US.
UK Stock of the TID 18 is in now, but I don't know if that applies to all set versions. . .

They do.

HOWEVER - you will not get Festool from them anymore.  To many people blabbed publicly about being able to , and Festool shut them down to protect their dealer markets.

We generally see new tools in the U.S. about 6 months or so after their introduction in the European market. Sometimes sooner, sometimes later. But no official announcement from Festool USA at this time. I assure you I will post about it as soon as it becomes available, or if you're subscribed to our emails you will get an email from us.

Anybody see the latest episode of This Old House?  I know it airs a different times around the country based on local PBS schedules.  Nevertheless, in the latest episode you can clearly see Tommy driving  a screw or two with a Festool impact driver.  Festool used to be a sponsor so maybe they gave him a one ahead of the US release, or he ordered it from Europe somewhere.  Anyway, when I saw it I wondered if it was out here, but apparently not yet.

Season 41, Episode 18 (have on my DVR still)  He's doing a reno on a Manchester-By-the-Sea shingle-style house.

Hmm, now you've got me thinking.  Watched it again and it sounds like an impact driver to me, but now not sure.
