Time to get a KAPEX 120!

Na, she did good.  I wouldn’t recommend anyone get the Kapex until they come out with a new version with a new motor design.  Just throwing it out there,  maybe a ec brushless motor.. [big grin].

The cart looks interesting - for people heavy enough to operate it without gymnastics :D

I've got a 12" Makita slider in my home shop, two Makita choppers at work, a 10"and 14".  I just got the Milwaukee 7 1/4" slide, this thing only weighs 30 lbs.  They  are absolutely serious about their power tool line.  This summer they are releasing 12 amp hr batteries, and an 8 1/4" 18v table saw.  They have also remodeled their Surge impact and hammerdrill to make them as compact as Makita's.  I love all my Festools but I'm just as impressed with my Milwaukees.

I've got very same stand and hate it can be very difficult to setup and I'm a 215lb over weight man.

I have the same Ridgid stand with the 12" Milwaukee compound sliding saw. Pretty heavy and stable. Easy to fold unfold, but yet I am 250lb and not over weight at all  [tongue]

By the way, I love my Kapex. Ironically I use the Kapex as a stationary miter saw where the Milwaukee is more like the move around miter saw... go figure.

Happy Friday, Mario
