Hello everybody.

First post for me, after reading FOG forum for months.

I am french, from Bordeaux. Sorry, I don't speak (and write) english very very well... I just hope you can understand me...language teaching is not optimal in France...

I don't find the file where new members present themself. So, I present myself here. And I test the forum operating...

45 yo, hyperactive hobbyist wood worker for 40 years. Festool fan for 4 years...of what would happen...

Bonjour:

Je m'appelle Tom Bellemare and welcome to the FOG!

I guarantee your English is better than my French, which I studied for years in our schools. I would dare say you write English better than at least half of those across the Channel from your country.

Tom

Grrr... it's not "tips box", but "bits box" for the router in the subject.

Here is the pic. I was fed up with my 2 boxs of bits, and several individual arrangements, that I have to extract from the systainer before to access to the router.

The solution: find the box with exact sizes to fit near the router, for all the bits. This box is a washing powder container, sold all over the world, i think...

Thanks Tom for your welcome words. Also thanks to google translate for language reminders..

One pic by post for tonight... i 'll see the solution tomorrow for more pics in a post...

4 sections of trunnion ("tourillon" in France, if google translate have good answer) for base legs, 1 section for top handle.

Draw trays on the outside of the box. Trion running, inside of the draw for base, outside for the top.

Enough space for 30/35 bits. For extra longue bits, it's possible to cut a window in the top to store them on the base.

Very little work for significant comfort.

You can note I don't own extra quality bits, but they do their works.

"Dowel"... yes, I knew the word, but not in my head yesterday..."trunnion" seemed to me not to be the right word...

Thank you, jamiep. Don't hesitate to correct me, I learn at the same time.
