Thanks guybo, it was on my mind too. It’s a good solution, and easy too.
One might also use the V-groves on either side. Peter Parfitt did just that for his finger joint sled on the CMS with the router module.
This evening I’ve used the Festool sliding table and the protractor with a flag stop cutting 1/4”/6mm plywood down to pieces measuring 75x110mm and 45x110mm. All square and effortlessly done.
The CS50 I have is the only Festool table saw with two t-tracks that can be utilised for a sled.
I’m about to make one soon. However, these t-tracks have the same dimensions as the tracks on the rails (they accept Festool track clamps) so for runners, they need to be much narrower than a std. miter slot. Ie: one cannot use runners made for std. tracks on most (US) table saws.
