I made these up and have found them to be very useful. These particular ones will adjust from 1/2" to 3/4". I have seen similar ones used somewhere and copied them to work with the MFT.

When I do laminate work on narrow stock I have found them to be really great to pop one up out of the way with one hand when the router passes by that spot, then pop it back down and keep going.

Looks like a great system.

Did you machine the dogs/base for these yourself (or have them made) or were they off the shelf somewhere?

Cheers

Those look really useful; let us know how you made them!  Definitely could see the utility of being able to pop them out of the router's path; that's always an issue and usually requires a couple clamps in the middle to leapfrog

They were made by me, I have a mill and basic lathe, both metal cutting. Someone with CNC access could pop these out pretty easily and could double as dogs if made accurately. For crosscutting stock if your guide rail is square with the grid (like you show in your vid) you would have the dog and clamp in one unit.

Thanks for the time you spent on your videos, I have learned a lot from them and my wallet is lighter  [crying]

haha thanks! I can't be the only one going broke from this hobby :)

It's not a hobby it is a disease, with only 1 way of curing it,  bankruptcy or the only certainty in life (apart from tax) ;)

Actually, all you guys talking about the slippery green slope - simply not true!   [doh]

It is a jump off a cliff into a free fall, no slope.....  [scared]

I know, but, we're all still in denial.  Which shows we haven't even recognized there is a problem. [tongue]
