I was impressed with Festool when I registered my first tool and realized that I could keep a running inventory of my Festool purchases. I was able to print out a list for my Insurance broker and always had an inventory I could verify. Festool stopped this service several years ago, I was told that it would resume but after calling Festool USA i was told that Festool in Germany had taken over the website and evidently did not intent to restore this feature. I think it was a great idea and should be reinstated.

We definitely know that this is something that we know that Festool users value, and we plan to bring it back ASAP. I know that we've been saying this for a while, but — for a variety of reasons — it's taken considerably longer than anticipated. We appreciate your patience. In the meantime, please send me a message if you would like me to pull a list of all of your registered tools.
