Hey,

just found this video of a German Youtube channel Tool TV. I'm following this channel for a while already and actually quiet like it. Granted, I'm German and I know what he is talking about, but even if you don't understand, there are some very cool innovative tools to be seen! Towards the half time mark you will see some Protool stuff and at the end a scribing saw!!!!

Have a look:
TOOL TV auf der Bau 2001 in München

Thanks for that!

It's amazing how much of it you can understand without speaking German. I think JMB was looking at that Protool tile saw a few weeks ago?

great video.

how cool is the scribing saw at the end of the video.

thanks for sharing this.

it is amazing how when spoken in German Dewalt tools seem not sooo bad. :)

Indeed! The drill shown looked an awful lot different to the rubbish you see in most stores here in the UK. I think that's the problem DeWalt have - they do (I'm sure) make some really good tools, but the good ones get lost in the mountains and mountains of utter crap they shift through the sheds & online retailers.

Eco, vielen dank fur den link, sehr toll.
Shane, how about getting that DCC AGP 125 over here. How hard could it be. Bosch is currently selling two versions of that here. The cheapo that attaches to an existing grinder and the more expensive one. I'm looking at buying the better one. At $400 for a Bosch, the Festool would be $600-650? i'd buy it yesterday. Of course the Bosch doesn't have a rail.
Currently I hold the vac hose along side of the grinder with a homemade shroud when doing such cuts, works fairly well overall.
I really think Festool is losing out on not having that tool stateside. That's one of the tools that could expand Festool awareness and sales.
I agree the door cutter at the end is very cool. Wouldn't buy it though. Don't think it would work so well on US floors.

The DSC-AGP 125 GRP SET isn't even that expensive, it's only 343 euro including the grinder and the rail. The hood DCC-AGP 125  alone is 151 euro.

Interesting Video clip.

The Eibenstock tools look good, with black and green color look just like Festool, and both companies push the Made in Germany logo very prominently, excellent.

The Made in Germany, Made in USA, Made in Canada thing is going to save many companies, just like the Made in China nameplate is going to kill others.

As one of the other posters said, DeWalt sounds good in German, but they have buried the good stuff under crap, just like Makita, Hitachi, Ryobi, Miwaukee and many others have done. As a side note, to Makita's credit, I have seen quite a few Makita tools , here in a local tool shop, sporting Made in UK, England.

Maybe stuff should just say, "Made on Earth".

VERY TRUE I was look at it and almost bought 1 BUT I need it sooner than later I ended up with just a Diamond blade for the TS75 and used my TS75 to cut the tiles on the floor! Worked brilliantly no dust!    I did convince Rex Crystals Fixing the start selling Protool as I told him about this saw and showed him the video of the Protool Auto Feed gun!  So for you UK lads Rex Crystals now also Deals with Protool as well Bunny Bolts

He just aint put anything on his website yet but here is a link just showing you hes started the process!  Thanks to me!  I kept on  [poke] him heeehee lol

Mint thing about the Protool DSC-AGP 125 tool its  like having 3 tools in one! With another accessory it can be

1. normal angle grinder
2.Guide rail guided grinder
3. Surface grinder

The complete tool only costs (with rail) £245   (without rail) £220       Thats cheap compared to what festool/protool normaly costs

You can buy just the hood! BUT at the moment I cnt find the price any more I know you can as I did look into it but for a little bit more you might aswell get the angle grinder as its not that much cheaper with no grinder as I can remember! Any way but if you still wanna save money just buy the hood! I did asked the question but I am still waiting for a answer I was told I would get an answer after new year! Still waiting!  Well I asked if a bosch 4'' grinder would fit onto the hood as I already own a bosch 4'' grinder.

So that tool runs around $400+ basically. I'd buy that immediately. Shane where can I type in my plastic number? Festool is so missing out. With some decent marketing that thing would sell really well over here. I just don't see how it wouldn't. You UK guys are so lucky.
Jmb do you remember off hand what brand diamond blade you got for your TS75. I still have this job hanging around that I may do in an occupied unit. DC will have to be maximized. That's why I was looking at the Bosch grinder with hood. Getting a diamond blade for my 75 would be preferable.
Thanks, Markus

I'll have a look for you tonight. But cus I needed it der n then I bought it went next door to this metal workshop who were able to cut the hole diameter bigger for my ts75 for next to nothing der n then and it fits perfect as the blade is actually designed for a tile cutter
