I want to replace my cheap set of Torx screwdrivers.  I would love a T handle with interchangeable torx bits but can only seem to find T handle sets or a multi bit screwdriver.  I'm using Torx screws a lot more lately in my business instead of Phillip's.  Would love to make some more room in my tool bag. I'm looking at Bondhus or Wera unless there's something better.  Or a recommendation on a compact set of some sort.

Thanks

My Torx drivers came with the Festool Installers Set that I bought a few years ago, I'm not sure if they still offer that set.

Wera 489 R T Rapidapter handle takes both wire and ball detent 1/4" bits. The Rapidapter works very well. I don't have that particular model. But I do have the Rapidapter, and also the same type of T Handle in a couple of their solid non-changeable T handles. I like both features.

It will accept Wera or whatever bits you like. The Rapidapter collar spins freely which gives a good place to hold onto it with free hand for quick turning.

the major European manufacturers make a t handle magnetic bit holder. Here's a link for KC Tools.

Wiha and Felo have the most reasonably priced entries, in the $10 range.

I'm partial to the Wiha impact rated bits. Here's a set of Torx from 10 to 40 (note the pic is wrong)

I have and like this set:

It has the same range of Torx and everything else.

I may be stating the obvious but be aware that there is torx and torx/plus (also known as torx2). Torx/plus is a superior design but at this time the vast majority of fasteners out there are original torx. Anyone using torx/plus drivers probably is already aware of this and probably also has some of the original design as well.

Where I work we have cutting tools that utilize both systems. To solve the identification problem we buy wiha for one system and wera for the other but I don’t kid myself about them getting used improperly all the time. They will interchange somewhat but it is sub-optimal. An original of a certain size will work in a plus but not the other way around.

I'm a second for Chad's, I've bought quite a few set from them.  I still have a $5.00 credit with them just need to decide what else I don't really need but want.

Well here’s a photo of what I use for 95% of my hand fastening needs.

The 28 piece Wiha set Ron mentioned earlier used with:
1. A Festool hand driver for everyday quick solutions.
2. An SK 1/4” ratchet along with a Snap-on magnetic 1/4” hex to 1/4” square socket for when more torque is needed.
3. An SK 1/4” open end and ratcheting wrench for very, very tight situations.
