I'm considering purchasing a track saw and multi function tables to for my woodshop.  Are these capable of producing furniture/cabinet quality cuts in cabinet grade plywood and hardwood of varying specie and size?  I'm looking for a saw that will cut square, miter, and bevels that are to wide for my miter saw.

Properly set up, the MFT and TS-55 will easily meet your needs.

Definitely.  Like any saw, just change the blade to the appropriate one for the kind of material you're cutting.  The stock blade on my TS75 is plenty fine for plywood (I think it is the "universal" blade), but I do the Panther blade for ripping hardwood.

I think the TS55 comes with a much better stock blade for cutting plywood than the TS75.  I would prefer this blade for ripping hardwood: http://www.festoolproducts.com/acce...-blade-for-ts-55-plunge-cut-saw-12-tooth.html

Accuracy of cuts for panel goods  is that of a beam saw. With the proper setup and procedures you can reproduce exacting parts. I Just cut out panels for 6 built in cabinets. My client was so impressed with them stacked and all like parts where identical and square. He even spun them around a couple of times. Somewhat of a learning curve but there are a lot of ideas and proven concepts on this site that will allow you to get the same results.

With the 55 the panther (ripping) blade cuts so much easier in thick hardwood that I definitely recommend using it but if I want glue ready cuts I sometimes still use the standard blade and put up with the slow cut.
