Track saw tape

After two and a half years in storage (weather like florida), the clear edge tape has partially come off all my tracks.  I'll be ordering some replacement tape.  But I've seen some not so good reviews for the festool tape on amazon.  It appears that the black makita tape is like better, and is apparently like the old festool tape.  Does anyone have any opinions on this?

Clean the rail with acetone and a single edge razor blade held at about 30º. Use a J roller to set the new strip.

If you want to, you can use 3M window film tape to resecure your existing strip.
