Transfer of warranty possible?

Shane, if I would buy a tool in Germany that currently is not available in the UD but will be next year could I transfer the warranty at that point to Festool USA? Malte

I guess no warranty transfer. Daium my Dewalt 18v is failing and I thought about getting a PDC 18/4 from Germany. Can't really wait until next years release....

Our warranty states...

Festool USA warrants that all new Festool power tools1 purchased from authorized dealers in the U.S. and Canada will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a term of 3 years from the date of original retail purchase.

So, that should answer the question.

Maybe you have some connections, but I don't even know with certainty which tools will show up next year. No guarantees that we will see the PDC.  [tongue] Of course, we are hopefully we will see it introduced.

No warranty from Festool USA on tools purchased outside of the US/Canada.
