Transit fit out

After taking inspiration from other fogger's van fit outs I've made a start on my own, I first had to strip out the existing plylined floor, bulkhead and side wall half height as they were completely rotten! This was installed by a previous owner here's a couple of pics to show how bad it was:

Once stripped out I cleaned and treated the rust patches to the floor before replacing the floor, wheel arch boxes and bulkhead in 12.5mm plywood and the side walls in 6.5mm plywood.
I then started the racking in 18mm ply not finished yet but here's where I am at the minute:

I still have all the shelves to fit as each sustainer will sit on its own shelf and sand and tidy all the edges. Also have still to start on the other side hopefully I can get some time over the next couple of weeks to get it all finished off.

Where did all the water come from? Leaks? Condensation?

Can you do anything to prevent it in the future?

Haha yeah the clamps are a temporary fix, I have routed out 4 holes in each shelf  to match the feet on the base of  systainers but until I get all the shelves in the clamps are a safe guard  [wink].
I have only had the van a couple of months the last owner used it to transport dirt bikes and would jet wash the back out to clean the mud out etc ( it was lined with some sort of fibre glass/resin designed for this purpose but over time the water must have worked its way through and once in was trapped which caused the problem, so stripping it all out has cured the issue and I won't be jet washing the back out anytime soon  [big grin]

Got a bit more time to work on the van today managed to get all the shelves fixed in place just have to tidy all the edges up now and rack the other side out but here's where it's at now

No the classics don't have the same foot arrangement as the t-locks just popped those in there out of the way I've ordered some more t-locks to take there place, but I thick you could do something similar with the classics as they do have a small foot which could locate in a cut out but you would probs have to fix a bit of a lip on the front edge of the shelf to make sure it didn't slip out.
I'l be housing the classics on the other side of the van when I rack it out so i'l come up with a solution i'l post it up on here when I do hopefully have it all finished by next week so watch this space [wink]
