Trend Snappy Centrotec Countersinks UK

I was at a tool show today and on the Trend stand they had the snappy countersinks for centrotec, not seen them in UK before. I was going to get one but they were £15 each, the standard snappy ones were £5, they were only the steel ones as well, I normally get the TCT ones. They only had countersinks in centrotec, nothing else.

I checked the price of the Axminster ones while at the show and they were £6. Trend said if the countersinks sell well they would introduce a bigger range and at that price I don't think they will which is a real shame because I really want their hinge bits/drill guides in centrotec.

They are doing a centrotec quick switch chuck now , so all standard trend attachments can now be used without having to resort to using the Jacob's chuck. D&M have them in stock

I bought the set of drill bits and countersink bits in NA and this set is well worth the money. In America I bought it on sale for $55.00 and I don't think I could have spent my money better.

I just file the corners off a standard hex drive bit and it will fit in the centrotec chuck. Takes about 60 seconds. I can now use my kreg drill bit and various trend hinge bits with my cxs without having to use a jacobs chuck. Simples!

The snappy set by snappy has one fix bit/ hinge bit. But I agree it would be nice to get the set of 4.
