I've bought a DeWalt DC628k cordless nailgun. It takes 15 Gauge 34° angled finishing nails. Locally, I can only buy the nails in boxes of 4000 and they don't sell them in smaller amounts or have an assortment box available.

Has anyone ever successfully trimmed off nails for a nailgun that were too long for the job at hand? Perhaps you used a Dremel cutoff wheel or something similar? If so, please tell me what you used and and any tips as to how you cut the nails to a suitable and usable size.

Thanks

Yes it have cut them down when i have run out of smaller lengths. a thin cutting disc on a cordless angle grinder works well for small quanties gets you out of the poo [big grin]

not tryed on 23 gauge yet
