This is a real bummer!!! I just bough a Trion on the 2nd of May. A 20% reduction is a lot of money is that any protection under the 30 return policy?

Greg

Greg, here's the 30-day return policy...

http://www.festoolusa.com/support/guarantee.html

Buy with confidence. If you are not completely satisfied, return your tool to the selling dealer within 30 days and you will receive a refund of either your purchase price or the lowest retail price at which the same item has been offered since your date of purchase. Freight charges are not refundable.

That is the catch "lowest retail price". So I'am glad I got the info today. One more day of the old price. Thanks [scared]

For those of you who haven't already read about it... Here's what Greg's referring to. AINA only.  [wink]

Bummer.  I could not wait any longer for the Carvex and purchased a Trion on May 6th.  In fact I had asked, on this forum, about a price decrease and was told no.  For those that had ordered a Trion in the past month, they should send us the Blade Promo pack as good will, just saying!!  [laughing]

Unfortunately, I am out of town traveling on business the rest of the week and have know way to return it!  [sad]

The price drop doesn't mean the Carvex is any closer than
Before the price drop.
Before anyone returns the Trion under the 30 day return policy,
why not ask your dealer to refund the difference?
I'm ponying up for my customers.

Bob, that's what I was hinting at earlier  but I didn't want to put you dealers on the spot.

No worries Brice. Dealers would be on the spot only if they chose to be. ;) It's our choice.

Bob is correct.

I can say with certainty that the Carvex launch is not imminent.

Look at how long the drill have been selling at a reduction. The new drills are still several month away.

I have been VERY happy with the Trion. It is the first barrel grip jigsaw i have owned. I find I'm intuitively using it upside down as it is easy to hold and see the blade. Trying to see the blade through the plastic dust extraction sleeve is almost impossible.
