Trying to vent outside in apartment with CTL 26 E or CTM 36 E

Could you get a Ridgid with an OSHA kit (not true HEPA) and a 20' hose?

They have their 12 gallons on sale now for $100 bucks with a HEPA kit. Add $30 for a 20' hose. Just stick the unit outside.
I could, though the question of sticking anything outside (only partially, I can't just hang it completely outside) is what brought me to creating this thread in the first place — by this logic I can buy any shop vac with sufficiently centralized exhaust and stick exhaust side outside (or keep it inside, as suggested in this thread)

The D 27-BSD doesn't completely seal the extraction part to the wall. The tool-attached vacs (like Bosch GDE 16 Plus) do, but you might not want the rubber contacting the wall. YMMV. I've had good experience with painters tape on the tip to prevent black marks.

I have the D 27-BSD and it's great in the sense it has it's low-pressure chaimber and dust canal separated, unlike Bosch GDE 68 and GDE 162 (and similar designs). However, since owning also the GDE 16 Plus and more recently an 18v with integrated extractor, use isn't very frequent.
Isn’t it by design? So the inward airflow coming through non-complete seal is supposed to not let pass any small particles flying outward, because they're small and the airflow created by the vac will be much stronger as compared to their kinetic energy from the drill bit? And for larger pieces flying apart from the drill bit — they can’t become airborne due to size/weight — the same characteristic which allowed them to escape via non-complete seal. Maybe I’m completely wrong here

I’ll check GDE 16 Plus, thanks
