The TXS18 should be using the same battery system as all of the other 18 volt tools other than the "Ergo" batteries that are used for the sanders. Your only possible limitation might be older NiCd batteries, but I think those topped out at 15V.
That said, even the older 12V and 15V LiIon batteries may work, depending on the tool.
