Does the TS 55 EQ Plunge Cut Circular Saw come with a guide rail?  If so what length of rail does it come with?

The TS 55 comes with a 1400mm Guide Rail. Some of us will exchange it for another rail for the difference in price.

Festool TS saw can be purchased as standalone saw or package with 1.4m guiderail, most people buy the bundle though.

As usual, Tom is correct about the bundling. He is also correct when he says "SOME of us will exchange it for another rail".  When I first got into Festool I bought from my local Rockler and Woodcraft.  Neither of them had any flexibility when it came to switching out the guide rails.  I guess it came down to maybe their volume of Festool business, they way they handle their inventory controls or company policy.
