Ts 55 model differences. What's better?

I have a 12-2014 500899 and just got a bundle of tools that included a 6-2013 498900.  What is the difference?  I'm looking to only keep one and sell the other.

There is no difference that is important. Festool changes the model number when they deliver the same tool in a new systainer and 2013 is about the time when they changed from classic systainer to T-Loc.

Sometimes they also change the model number when they make a small adjustment inside. Functionally, both your saws are the same and you will never notice a difference.

Unless one has the right angle stop - cannot remember the exact year that was introduced. Also, if metric or imperial if in the US.
