TS-55 Panther Blade

Looking through the archives, it appears that the new panther blade has the same kerf as the 48 tooth blade now; so in theory the guide rail should splinter guard should not be affected. I just can not seem to find any reports from actual use confirming that there are no issues with the splinter guard when switching back and forth. Can someone chime in with actual experienes with the new blade?

I have the new Panther blade. It works very well and does not alter the splinter guard at all. I have used it with two different guide rails  with no problems.

I purchased a Panther blade about two months ago and haven't used it yet. When did the kerf size change? I'd exchange mine if it's not the new one. I'd rather have matching kerf sizes.

I believe it was last November or December that the new ones came out.  It was right after the sale.

It should be part number 496305. All of the new blades for the TS 55 should start with "496" except the Fine Tooth Blade, which didn't have to change and is still 495377. It's the one that the kerf was matched to at 2.2mm.
