ts 55 req bearing/gear noise

Bought new ts 55 req today from local retailer. Noticed at start up occasionally there after a loud noise that to me sounds like a bad bearing. Like the sound a side grinder makes before the gearbox takes a dump. Is this normal or should I return it?

Wow thanks for the quick reply! Haven't had a chance to really try it out yet but fit/finish and lack of play at all in key areas has me impressed so far!
