So....I got my TS 55 REQ saw today....was thinking it would come with the metric scale and an imperial sticker if I wanted to cover up the Metric scale.....well the saw came imperial.....I "want" metric....anyone know if labels or stickers and available to convert it to metric??? a link would be great! Thanks!

Should be a few metric versions of the TS 55 left?

Who was your dealer, if you mind me asking?

Should the HK 55 and HKC 55 be added to the list of Imperial tool offerings?

Got it through Festool Online everywhere I was reading it said the imperial sticker would be included....so I assumed I would be getting the metric one.... also got the Festool metric tape measure....sorry but what a pile for the money...its built more like a 7.00 tape measure! lol!

The tape measure is branded for Festool. I have seen it in several different colors / logos.

I would contact the dealer and see what they will do. Maybe they have a metric version left in stock? Or another dealer may still have some.

Not wanting to go through all that...... and its not just them advertising it that way....I guess I will have to fix it....

Of course not, but what else are you going to do about it. I would say if the dealer has it advertised wrong then the dealer should eat the shipping cost on it.

If  you had known going into the purchase that it would be in Imperial you probably wouldn't have bought it. But at that point you would be at the same point as now (except for the return) ........ finding a dealer that has a metric left in stock.

Well...actually Festool on there own website has it advertised wrong.....if you go on the Imperial saw page and click on the third picture it shows a saw with a metric scale!... and again....when I saw that and then saw on multiple vendor websites saying the imperial scale was included I assumed the saw was going to come metric.... Festool has cause the confusion...not the vendors.... anyway......

Yes, I get that. I am not saying you are wrong.

It doesn't change what I said above. What else are you going to do except deal with it by seeing if they will take it back based on you not getting what you thought you were getting?

And then try to find one that is metric.

We still have some stock of metric TS55s. If you live in Canada, we can get it to you.

Like you, I was seeing conflicting information online, and decided not to risk it.  My local dealer had their last metric TS55 as their display model, but would not sell to me despite speaking to the manager on multiple occasions (I think I pissed him off).  I then decided to put a 'want to buy' AD in my local CL, and was able to get a gently used TS55 for a substantial discount, and it still has over 2.5 years of its warranty left.  Just another approach to obtaining one, that's all.
