Hello,
i'm new member here, but already posted few posts
I ended up finding FOG because of mu problems. I own CMS-GE, CMS-TS75 module, TS-75 saw and all other CMS accessories except. rip fence (unfortunately?).
So the problem is - i cannot cut straight and square cuts [crying] after investing so much money into whole system (all accessories, vacuum, cyclone etc.) i want to cry [scared] because i cannot make a simple straight and square cut of any board.
I'm tearing my hair over weeks of reading - testing- reading-testing- failing and failing.
What i have done so far and my observations:
1. blade square to CMS table top. I have managed to adjust it +- square. I tried to square blade with saw removed from CMS on flat surface, but once put into CMS it's out of square. My CMS module is dead flat, no observable gaps once metal square is put on module top. So i adjusted blade to be square with saw inserted into CMS.
2. tighten everything - i have tightened 2x green roller so saw is dead locked into CMS rails, all other nuts are hard tight.
3.Mitter gauge. For a fence i use mitter gauge. oh what a failure that is:
3.1. i tried loosen all nuts (except V groove nut) and place fence to blade so it is parallel and tighten all nuts. Ok, but to make a cut i need to move it back from blade [crying] and once i move it back it is not parallel anymore ... the problem is 2 fold: first once nut it loosened it wobbles like crazy meaning with only one nut unfastened it doesnt keep parallel to blade. second if i adjust anything while all nuts loosened it will get out of parallel once single nut is fastened [blink] crazy!!!!
3.2. no matter how hard i fasten nuts whole mitter gauge has some movement.
4. I observe that saw blade is not centred in CMS-TS module top groove. It is at an angle and riving knife is touching on side of groove.
5. Saw blade square to table changes depending on how far saw is plunged.
6. don't know if it is ok, but my riving knife wobbles to the sides - it is not fixed as blade is.
Result - the cut is not straight along the length of rip as well as it is not square ...
It drives me nuts! Nothing on this saw and CMS works as i would expect, is it faulty or am i stupid?
Table is flat:
