Hi. My TS 75 EBQ's blade brake became suddenly erratic: appx. 20 % of the times it didn't brake the blade at all. The rest of times it worked as expected. The saw runs otherwise perfectly.
The first thing to check were the carbon brushes. They seemed to be in good order, they moved without mechanical resistance and were not too worn out. After I reassembled the saw, the brake seems to work OK every time.
My hypothesis is that even though the brushes didn't show any visible problems, them may have been partly jammed in a way that influenced only the braking action, and my fiddling may have somehow loosened them.
Has anyone else had same kind of experiences?
