The discussion on the TS 55 operation was very helpful, however, I have the TS 75.  My question is regarding base placement vs rail length.  I always setup to cross cut a full sheet with my saw base set off the work piece to plunge.  That does not leave enough rail to finish the cut on the rail. :-[  Brice's illustration showed me that in a perfect world how I should set up.  Should I have a little longer rail for cross cutting?  Chris

Hi,

The simple answer is, yes.  I also just saw a post by Bob Marino that the TS75 is now going to be sold/ shipped with the  1900/75 rail.  How long have you had the saw?  Perhaps something could be done ?

Hi,

Hey , I just noticed that the inch conversions, rounded off, of the rail lengths match up to the saw numbers.

Chris,

The 75" rail was always available, but now it is included with the TS 75 saw.

Bob, to be clear, that is the rail I need for cross cutting full sheets in you opinion?  Thank you for your input>

Chris,

The TS 75's base is longer than the TS 55's base. It just makes it way easier to have the saw sit properly on the rail before cutting.

Not Bob, but yes, you will want the 75" rail for the 4' cuts and a 118" (FS3000) rail for the 8' cuts.
