TS55 and prefinished maple ply

Going to be cutting a good bit of pre-finished maple ply and was wondering if the stock ts55 blade is the best choice or should I get a different blade for this task.  Suggestions.

Stock blade work fine for plywood. I assume your blade is sharp.  If you want clear cut install fresh green splinterguard. Sometimes it works fine even without it.

+1  I have had no problems cutting pre-finished plywood with the 48 Fine tooth blade.

The fine tooth blade gives excellent results with my ATF 55 which can't use the green (outboard) splinter guard.

The finish itself significantly reduces tearout.

If you do get tearout (more likely when crosscutting) you can reduce the cutting depth to just a couple of mm to score through the veneer then repeat at "full" depth. Assuming you have the guide rail secured so it doesn't move between passes.

It depends on plywood's quality.  Green splinterguard significantly reduces tear out on lesser quality plywood.

I've had good results with both maple-faced ply and maple-faced MDF with the standard 48 tooth blade in a TS55.
