TS55 baseplate

SOO, it looks like my baseplate has warped or bent on my TS55.
I don't recall dropping it, but that is what has happened.
How does one go about ordering a new plate? I have the EKAT #500912
Do just call up and order it? I thought there would be an online order form or something.

Are you 100% sure it's warped?  Just checking as the TS55 does have a slight rock I think when placed on a flat surface.

If so, then you should probably call Festool directly and ask them about procedures.  Putting in a new baseplate also requires doing a set of calibration procedures that you should determine in advance that you are comfortable doing yourself.

I actually dropped my TSC55 last year and cracked my base, but I sent mine in for fixing to service.  As it was still under warranty, they only charged me for the part and not for the service time, even though it was obvious user error.
