I learned something just now.  Whenever i adjusted the blade angle, i just worked at making cuts and checking by the method i described above. I tried a couple of times by extending the blade, locking in place and checking with a small square. With so little blade showing that way, I found it was quicker going the cut and check/flip method.  I never thought about taking the cover off of the saw to square the blade. 

good idea.  Next time, I will try your way.

Be careful when You taking the cower off. In area with green splinterguard  - on right side is litlle,  tiny spring. This spring hold the green splinterguard to fall off.

I set angle, made few cuts a than changed angle few times. And it really works,  but you need set the stops with 25TX - i played with it 2hours(

[emoji1] [emoji1] I played with thing two hours, because my first square wasnt square 90°, but 86°   My second square was Kids triangle with true 90° angle.  With this angle a set the saw about 20 minut with take off saw cover.

My girlfrend sad me: ,, You are accuracy maniak!"

There are two set screws which act as stops under the main angle housing of the saw that are adjustable to set blade perfectly square to the cut. The TS55 EQ and TS75 have these screws, and I assume the REQ has them as well.

The supplemental PDF manual for the TS55EQ shows the method and how many turns required per degrees off angle from 90.

It sounds as if people are squaring the blade and locking the main knobs but not actually adjusting the set screws which return the blade to square once done correctly.

 

Rebq hasnt this adjustible screws.
